What You Need

Work From Home Software from Collabor8online works using your browser that comes with your computer. These days most people use Chrome or Firefox, sometimes Safari for Apple Macs. And occasionally, some people still use Microsoft browsers such as Internet Explorer or Edge. So all you need is your computer and an Internet connection.

Security

Collabor8online is completely secure, users can only gain access to the files that you want to share with them, furthermore, you can control whether they can view only, or view edit and add content themselves. Delete permissions are reserved for just those team members you trust, or just yourself. 

Your own username and password keep your data safe. Your connection is encrypted using https – which is the same level of encryption that banks use, so nobody can inadvertently get access to your data. (which is not always the case with email) generally speaking, collaborate online is much more secure than email.

Q. How can ensure that any sensitive information is only made available to those who "need to know"
A. You control who has permission to view each folder and subfolder, you can change permissions in each folder level, so for example a top level folder may be accessible to a few staff and contacts, but a subfolder may only be accessible to a restricted number of staff or, just yourself. You are in control of who can see what at every stage
Q. how do I know that my staff have access to the folders that they need.
A. As a system administrator, you can “login as user” so that you can see what they will see when they log in. 
Q. Can I reassure my stakeholders and business partners that my information will be safe and secure.
A. All data is encrypted same type of encryption (https) that banks use, data is encrypted both in transit (between your computer and our file server in our secure data centre) and for your additional security it is encrypted again whilst it is stored at rest on our servers.
Q. Do you keep a backup of my data
A. Using the same high levels of security as above, your data is constantly replicated three times, across two geographical locations, if any one instance should fail the other two will immediately regenerate third copy
Q. How do I know everything is up-to-date?
A. Collabor8online includes automatic version control, so that you users always see the latest version of each file. Administrators can see earlier versions as well and can revert to an earlier version if they wish to. Collabor8online keeps all copies of all files, so you never lose track.

A.Collabor8online produces a complete activity audit, so you can always see who did what and when. You can view an activity audit across the whole site or just for a specific file or folder
